For the 2022 FIFA World Cup, Qatar built several state-of-the-art stadiums to host the event. Eight stadiums in total were either newly constructed or renovated, showcasing innovative designs and modern amenities.

Education City Stadium: Located in the heart of Qatar’s academic district, this stadium has a 40,000-seat capacity. Its striking geometric design features Islamic architectural influences.
Ahmad Bin Ali Stadium: Located in Al Rayyan, this 40,000-seat stadium was designed to reflect the region's culture and landscape, including motifs like sand dunes and desert flora.
Stadium 974: A groundbreaking design, Stadium 974 is made from shipping containers and modular components. It can hold 40,000 spectators and is located in the Ras Abu Abboud area of Doha. After the tournament, the stadium will be dismantled and repurposed.
