(Sorry, but I figured Icestar and Howlingwolf could use some one on one time for the plot.)
Icestar was strolling through the forest to get out of the camp for a bit. The forest calmed her and lately she was feeling kind of edgey. She heard prey scuffling in the ferns not to far off and decided to hunt for herself since she wasn't on a hunting patrol. Her white coat was obvious in the forest since greenery was dominating the territory again and snow was gone. Her pale blue eyes spotted a rabbit. Odd. she thought to herself. But it was in her territory, so it was ThunderClan prey. She moved slowly, very carefully, forward. Within leaping distance, Icestar jumped. The rabbit spooked and took off. Icestar wasn't giving up so easily. She landed her jump in a full-out sprint, her belly brushing the forest floor. The white leader was nothing by a blur of white streaking through the forest. The rabbit gradually lost energy and was slowing down. As Icestar closed the distance, she was oblivious to the fact she had crossed the border and was pelting through WindClan territory, so intent on her prey that she didn't notice a patrol of WindClan pelting toward her! She was bowled over just as she tripped the rabbit. It squealed and tumbled, taking off as soon as it stopped. Hissing, Icestar faced her attacker as WindClan finally hammered her scent glands. "Thief!" the WindClan cat hissed and spat in her face. Icestar gasped and quickly gathered her thoughts, realizing now that she had in fact ran into WindClan territory. And chasing a rabbit! That isn't going to seem like prey-stealing! Way to go Icestar! her mind scolded the white leader. She wasn't allowed to stand up as the five WindClan cats surrounded her, the head of the patrol pinning her to the ground. Icestar was still too stunned from the blow to fight back, and even if she could the leader knew the odds were agaisnt her. "I was in the forest, I swear! The rabbit was in the heart of my territory. I was chasing it and hadn't realized that I crossed the markers. I'm sorry." she blurted out. Wait... Why am I apologizing? I didn't steal prey. I didn't intentionally cross into WindClan territory. They attacked me! Her thoughts clustered together and rage drove Icestar into action. She swatted away the warrior and bristled her long fur, hoping a ThunderClan cat, or better a patrol, would see her and help.
