Hmmmm...
Well as much as I hate the clichés we could always do the evil clan that comes to the forest plot. It's good for new sites. Maybe twolegplace is getting overpopulated with loners and some move to the forest or something. We could have cat gangs o.o
Meanwhile! o.o
Maybe we could have some Dark Forest cats(the anti StarClan) manipulating some of the cats in the clans. They could come to them in dreams and tell them that StarClan is really the evil ones, and that it is the destiny of these selected cats to overthrow the clans, take over as leaders, and follow the ways of the Dark Forest instead of StarClan!
And we can throw in some natural disasters as well. I mean when it rains it pours after all. A fire here, a flood there. Maybe a dog pack or two... >=D hehehe
But I don't know^^ I'm just brainstorming here! This is just off the top of my head.

Well if you like that one, then let's see if we can expand on it.
So we all know about the cats of the Dark Forest. They are those who have committed wicked deeds during life and did not make it to StarClan. They walk the endless forests, with only the company of others as evil as themselves. They feel as though they have been cheated and betrayed.
So the Dark Forests cats watch the clans work with StarClan with growing fury, waiting for their chance to make a move. As the hearts of the clan cats grow darker(maybe due to disasters and lack of food), those in the Dark Forest grow stronger. They finally have enough power to carry out their plan. They pick four champions, one in each clan. They come to them in dreams and tell them that everything they know is a lie. Those in StarClan are the truly evil ones, and they manipulate the clans. StarClan is what brings the disasters and death. The Dark Forest Cats tell them that they must show everyone the truth, and take over, as they are the true leaders of the clans. The cats begin to gain followers and..........

Hey guys! I'm newer to this site! :3 I'm V, and so is my kitty.
I just thought I could weigh in? :3
My kitty is a rouge cat who doesn't remember where he's from thanks to him being an idiot.
Here are my ideas: Sounds awesome! I would be willing to throw V in there as a sort of "prophet" for the Dark Forest Cats. He is sort of blaming StarClan for making him forget and doesn't really want anything to do with them for now -- so he would be ample bait for the Dark Forest cats to manipulate. He's only a rouge/loner dude, but still. If you have some rouge running around screaming that StarClan stole his memories, doubts are going to begin. loll Just an idea! :D
And as always -- natural disasters are always a plus. ;D And again -- V the prophet could randomly show up saying that StarClan is doing this to them! Haha.

I think a distaster would be good, even as just a subplot. Like a flood or a fire. Maybe even an earth quake, have trees fall and what-not

yeah, i agree. then there is a little more interest added, instead of just focusing on one huge main plot. ^^ anddd the it incoporates V's idea about having V come in, which i think she said anyway. :3

The forest was in a time of great darkness, cats that once feared the wrath of StarClan, now believe that they had turned against them. Shadowclaw has now stepped out in the open to discover the truth, and it was found. The dark Forest cats walk in cats dreams and make them believe that StarClan is evil. Shadowclaw plans to tell this at the next gathering.

Shadowstar looked down upon the cats of his clan. He spotted his mate, GentleBreeze mother of 5 kits now warriors, IceFlame, GingerTail, CinnamonPelt, ShadowClaw, DawnHeart.
