{YOUNG MISS}
EagleEye waltzed lazily through the trees. Today had been a relaxed day. Well, relaxed until Monbijoux and just showed up out of the blue right next to him and scared the bejebus out of him. His assignment was simple: recruiting. And for them, it was simple. All they had to do was place the seed of doubt deep into the confines of the mind, and let their own imaginations spin the web. He smirked. This job was way too easy. There was that one crazy one, V. V agreed with them, but wouldn't join until they found his "box", whatever it was. So, Monbijoux had him hunting around for a box as well. He took the ThunderClan territory. He was still born here, so his smell wouldn't be as different as others. Underneath the musk of the familiar leaves was the hint of swamp and coal from the chunk of land that he occupied with his new clan. He didn't much care if they found him. He could plead "I just want to come back!", but that only works so often... He sighed and continued his wandering, rehearsing the speech that he had been taught. He had the slight drawl down, the hushed whispers and, oh, the intonation of his words was important as well.. As he ducked through the ferns, a sly grin split the tomcat's face. His first recruit of the day was just up ahead. Splendid.
[Aaaaaannndd this is EagleEye! He's sorta a creeper and completely a devoted servant to DarkClan! Oorah!] <3V [/blockquote]

Launched through the undergrowth with her fangs bared and claws extended, anger flashing in her mind as the small black she-cat relieved she was going to miss her target. The squirrel had already raced two tail lengths away by the time her paws touched ground and was headed straight for the nearest tree. She chased after it, but it was too late. The bushy tailed critter was already up the tree. Skidding to a halt, Poppypaw glare up the oak at her lost prey, lashing her claws out at the bark in frustration. Above her the squirrel chattered and to her it sounded like taunting laughter. ”Laugh while you can, furball,” she growled. ”When I catch you next time, I’m going to line my nest with your tail!”
Tail trashing back and forth, Poppypaw turned away from the tree and her mocking lost catch and stalked away, debating whether to keep hunting or sneak back into camp. Yes, it was true, she was out hunting without permission. But she didn’t see why that mattered. If—no, when she caught something she would bring it back to put on the fresh kill pile. And it wasn’t like she was some bumbling kit. She was an apprentice! She knew where the boarders were and to look out for danger. There was no reason she should stay cooped up in camp on such a beautiful new-leaf day.
The sun shone uninterrupted in the cloudless sky, its rays pouring through the foliage above and casting shattered patterns of light and shadow across the forest floor. Stepping into one of these pockets of direct light Poppypaw paused for a moment, enjoying the warmth shinning down on from above. She took a deep breath, inhaling all the musky and delicious scents of the forest, sorting through them in hopes of picking up the scent of new prey.

{YOUNG MISS} reply from: EagleEye EagleEye planted himself just behind her. The wind was currently sweeping in his direction, keeping him hidden in plain sight. He watched her chase the squirrel up the tree. Her anger was amusing. His duo-toned eyes watched her as she hunted for something new. Better appear before she finds.He strolled into her eyesight. " What a shame.." he mused watching the laughing squirrel. " Squirrels are always the hardest. You have to be faster, lighter on your feet." He said. Then he looked directly at her. " Oh, and you have to be quieter." His chest billowed with his breaths. He inhaled the deep ThunderClan cat scent. " Only an apprentice, right? He asked -- then he shook his head. " Worst almost year of my life." His green eyes connected with her amber. The wind danced around their ankles, the smells of the forest getting dragged away faster then a nose could pick them up. He stood, his broad shoulders squared. He then sat, planting himself at an angle to her and wrapping his tail around his feet. " I'm EagleEye. What's your name." [He's a creeper. xDD] <3V [/blockquote]

Poppypaw froze as she saw the other cat come into sight. She was caught. Waiting for the scolding words that always came when she was found doing something she shouldn’t and preparing her defense, she was surprised by his words.
"What a shame.. Squirrels are always the hardest. You have to be faster, lighter on your feet. Oh, and you have to be quieter."
He’s correcting my hunting? she thought, a little confused but relieved. Not that her hunting needed to be corrected, but she’d take that over punishment any day. She’d still complain about it, but she preferred it.
“I know that,” the small apprentice meowed, her tone defensive. “It must have spotted me before I pounced, that’s all. Black fur doesn’t blend in well with the undergrowth, y’know. I’d have had it otherwise.” She met his gaze directly, boldly. “And I was being quiet.”
It was at that moment, staring at him, that she realized something that both frightened and infuriated her. This wasn’t a Thunderclan cat. Sure, there was a Thunderclan scent which is what throw her off, but looking at him, unable to recognize him, she noticed how faint the scent of her clan was. Her hackles raising, Poppypaw was about to ask— no, demand to know who he was and why he was there when he spoke again.
"Only an apprentice, right? Worst almost year of my life. I'm EagleEye. What's your name?"
EagleEye. She vaguely remembered that name. She wasn’t sure on the detailed, but she knew he used to be part of Thunderclan and left. Or was exiled. She had only been a kit at the time, she didn’t know what was going on, and not many cats talked about it now. It doesn’t matter, she thought, her eyes narrowing at the large tom as he planted himself across from her. Left or exiled, he’s not a part of Thunderclan anymore and is trespassing.
“What are you doing in Thunderclan territory? Poppypaw demanded, ignoring his inquiry as to her name. While he sat, she stood, tense and ready to fight or, though it would bruise her ego greatly, flee.
